Move Well, Eat Well, Think Well and Feel Well
4 Corporate Wellness Workshops, 1 Philosophy.
I tailor these main workshops to the needs of the people who attend. The basic premise holds true for all (see dripping below). I design the analogies to make sense to each particular audience. I recommend one workshop per month, for a consecutive four month period to allow attendees time to digest and implement these strategies into normal daily life. It is incredible to watch the faces of my audience light up in the “aha” moments and be witness to their transformations toward a more fulfilling energized life experience. It is wonderful to see them feeling more productive, energized and motivated in all areas of their lives. $300 per one hour workshop or $1000 for all 4 when booked together. Past workshops include those for Knightsbridge, Ontario Pension Board, Alliance Atlantis, Bell Canada, Time Magazine and of course, in my office for my practice members.
I drip on people.
I drip on people. It’s true. The theme throughout this website is the same as is my philosophy of health and healing, lifestyle and personal growth. Small changes over longer periods of time is the way to make lasting change towards a more healthy, positive, energetic and life affirming experience. The concept of titration has always fascinated me. Think back to high school chemistry. Do you remember dripping one clear solution into another to determine the point at which the receiving solution is saturated? At 463 drops, the solutions may still be clear. But, add that 464th drop and “boom”! The clear solution is now purple, it changed into something new! When we quit at that 460th drop, we have no idea that we were only 4 drops away from realizing our goals! Applying this same analogy to health (or relationships, business, career, philanthropy etc.), it takes many small changes or drips to create lasting change. Perhaps adding a green monster (veggie/fruit smoothie) into your daily morning routine, walking to work, getting adjusted regularly, and/or listening to positive messaging via books on your iPod.
Coaching
I’ve been a coach in my practice for since 1998. My ability to help people identify what it is that they want to achieve has improved drastically over this time. I’ve come to clearly realize that 1. people need to be open, willing and interesting in creating change to be coached, 2. people can only change when they desire and are inspired to do so, 3. support always helps. Dave Klaybor has a wonderful definition of coaching that I’d like to borrow here: “A coach is a person who can champion you to create an effective action plan and then hold you accountable to your commitment to follow through on the actions necessary to achieve it. A coach is NOT there to make you do something you don’t want to do. Rather, a coach is a person who can support you in analyzing whether your actions are consistent with the results you desire.” It is one of my most valued pleasures to help people achieve higher levels of energy, health and vitality. Remember the story of the tortoise and the hare, slow and steady (change) wins the race.
